Technology

Full stack

I prefer to use the Next.js framework based on React for frontend as well as backend

Only one programming-language is needed : Typescript which is an extension of Javascript

Database

I prefer MongoDB because it is very flexible.

In specific usecases PostgreSQL could be a better fit.

Infrastructure

I prefer to use Vercel because it's simple to move from test to production.

Vercel is a very popular cloud solution.

Programming environment

Cursor is my preferred code editor.

The reason is simple. At this moment it's the best artifical-intelligence-enabled editor. It can make use of Claude as well as OpenAI LLM models

Artificial intelligence enabled applications

I believe that Langchain is a nice framework with which you can built AI-enabled applications using Javascript or Python

CMS

I like Payload CMS because it's lightning fast, very flexible, development-friendly and 100% written in Typescript It integrates well in an existing Next.js, application. In some use cases it can be used as the base of a full-fledged webapplication.
